The process in Mary Rothschild workshops empowers the center or school to become the hub for good information about developmentally appropriate ways children and busy families can spend their home time. Teachers and parents feel more at ease in individual conversations when these topics are addressed as important to the whole community. See below for possible formats and schedule a free consult.
Mary is in person and customizes all materials by preparing with you via email and one half- hour phone consult.
This will work for you if you want help to develop your own parent night presentation on the importance of family time or specifically the implications of media use. Includes handouts.
Mary narrates four 3-5 minute films, supplemented by handouts, questionnaires, and discussion tips for the presenting teacher.
Follow-up information and consultation with Mary via Email.
Through Skype or Zoom, Mary appears in real time, guides the workshop with provided handouts and questionnaires, and answers questions from participants.
The formats listed can be adapted to a workshop that addresses the larger questions of imbuing the center or school's culture with an openness to speaking about home time.
